Training course for childcare assistants with childcare skills
CareMate Academy is a quality-based school that aims to teach professional childcare skills to care for children from birth through preschool age.
The teaching team includes psychologists, pediatricians, nutritionists, osteopaths, doctors and hospital childcare workers in order to offer a 360-degree training.
The CareMate Academy's offering is divided into three distinct paths based on acquired skills that allow for professional specialization from a basic level to one of excellence.
Our training offer starts from a minimum of 15 hours up to a maximum of 250 hours, with an internship planned based on the chosen path, an essential internship to obtain the suitability and skills necessary to work at home with families.
The courses also prepare for the opening of micro-nurseries and for working in private facilities that welcome children.
The CareMate courses will start in October 2024 in online mode, with intermediate and end-of-course exams.
Course
NANNY/HOUSEKEEPER
The Colf/Nanny CareMate course provides the basic knowledge to undertake a professional path to be included in our families with tasks that include managing the house and caring for children aged 12 months and up.
The main skills taught are:
- professional ethics and CareMate principles;
- management of domestic work;
- first level HACCP online course;
- pediatric first aid course from the CRI;
- hygiene and care of a child with meal preparation;
- contracts.

BABYSITTER
The Baby Sitter CareMate course provides the knowledge to undertake a professional path to be included in our families with tasks that involve the care of children aged 5 months and up.
The main skills taught are:
- professional ethics and CareMate principles;
- child development;
- psychocognitive development;
- the importance of movement;
- sleep-wake rhythm and routine;
- approach to sleep education;
- breastfeeding and complementary feeding;
- weaning;
- child communication
- space organization
- first level HACCP online course;
- CRI pediatric first aid course;

Master Being a Childcare Worker
with Ilenia Pighetti
Being a childcare worker is not something to be taken for granted, one can only consider oneself as such after a lot of experience.
The purpose of this master's degree, aimed only and exclusively at those who have already studied childcare and live in Milan or surrounding areas, is to deepen and consolidate the theoretical bases through practice.
Thanks to the experience of hospital childcare worker Ilenia Pighetti, you will learn those precautions that make the difference.
Furthermore, this master will train our team of more experienced childcare workers so that we can respond to the growing demand from many parents who ask us for this professional figure.
Finally, the team of senior childcare workers will help train other students through tutoring activities at our Academy and with our families.

The workshops dedicated to parents, nannies and professionals are online meetings lasting a few hours that aim to provide basic knowledge on crucial topics in the growth phases of a child.

Vi insegnerò come poter aiutare il vostro bambino e voi a dormire meglio e come passare da un addormentamento completamente dipendente dall'adulto ad un addormentamento più autonomo possibile.

IL MOVIMENTO DA 0-6 MESI
​I primi mesi di vita del bambino possono presentare a genitori e tate insicurezze e paure, in quanto si ha il timore di non essere in grado di gestire correttamente il neonato.
Uno di questi ambiti è sicuramente il movimento, tanto importante quanto talvolta difficile da stimolare correttamente.
Attraverso questo workshop, insieme all' osteopata pediatrico Andrea Pagani, vi sarà possibile ottenere preziosi consigli e dritte su come accompagnare il movimento dei vostri bimbi nel periodo compreso tra 0 e 6 mesi di vita.

WEANING AND SAFE CUTS
Weaning is not just a new form of nutrition but an important part of your child's educational profile.
This workshop will provide the methods and various possibilities of approaching weaning that you can put into practice with your children.
We will analyze the various types of weaning: from classic to self-weaning or soft weaning.
How to offer whole, unchopped foods using safe cuts to avoid choking hazards.
We will explore recipes for your children in such a way as to rotate all the foods without the child getting tired of eating the same things over and over again.
We will also include a series of vegetarian and vegan recipes.

CareMate Pre and Postpartum Course
The antenatal course helps future families face the birth of their baby with greater awareness and serenity.
It is recommended to enroll in the antenatal course between the twentieth and twenty-fourth week.
The course is taught by CareMate professionals in a mixed online/in-person mode and the lessons are held on Saturday mornings.
Participation in the course is recommended for families with an expected birth date between January 1st and January 10th, 2025.
