• Prof. Dr. Lucia Romeo born in Rome, graduated from Sapienza University in Rome in June 1978 with 110 cum laude, specialized in Pediatric Clinic in the same university in July 1981 with 60 cum laude.

• Internal physician at the Pediatrics department of the Catholic University leukemia and childhood tumors, internal physician at the Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome infectious diseases and nutrition departments.

• 
  Since 1981 in Milan at the De Marchi clinic, university scholarship holder for 3 years in the nephrology and dialysis department, sports doctor at the sports medicine center of Prof. Aghemo.

• From 1982 to 2010, pediatrician, SUMAI specialist consultant in Milan.

• Since 2010, pediatrician in Verbier, Switzerland, in an emergency center.

• Since 2010, Pediatrician of the SVSeD center (Sexual and domestic violence relief), at IRCCS Ca’ Granda Policlinico in Milan, Mangiagalli Clinic.

  Since 2016, Contract Professor at the University of Milan for Pediatrics, since February 2017, Pediatrician in charge of the Timmi Center (mistreatment identification team Milan) at the V Buzzi Hospital in Milan.

  Since 2010, I have participated as a trainer in training courses for doctors and nurses on the topic of mistreatment and sexual abuse.

  Speaker at national and international conferences.

• In July 2011, I worked as an “observer medical fellow” at the Can programm at the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.

  I have participated in Italy and abroad in continuous refresher courses in nutrition, allergology, infectious diseases, integrated medicine: phytotherapy and homeopathy, which I apply together with traditional medicine to my patients.

• Since the academic year 2014/15, I have been a contract professor at the School of Specialization in Forensic Medicine, University of Milan.

• I am a specialist in pediatric phytotherapy and allergy testing. I am a member of the World Medical Association, a member of SIP (Italian Society of Pediatrics), SIOMI (Italian Society of Homeopathy and Integrated Medicine), SIFIT (Italian Society of Phytotherapy) and a member of the national commission on child abuse and sexual abuse.

I know perfect English, French, a little Spanish and German.

My social commitment

In August 2006 I worked as a volunteer at the Chennai Hospital in India. In July 2007 I worked at the Wamba Hospital in Kenya. In July and August 2007 and 2008 I worked as a volunteer at the Colombo Hospital in Sri Lanka. In July and August 2010 I worked as a volunteer in Brazil at the non-profit organization in Pittitinga. In July 2012 to date I have worked as a volunteer every year at the Kinangop Hospital in Kenya. Since 2011 I have been collaborating with Terres des Hommes for international projects in defense of children.
